3 Ways to Strengthen Your Focus Muscle

Tuning into mainstream news media or general social media will have you believing in fear, that you aren’t doing enough, that your life isn’t as fabulous and drain your energy.

It will destabilize you and fragment your energy in many different directions.

Now more than ever, you must be aware and conscious of what you’re allowing into your psyche. Your frequency and who you choose to collaborate with on creating and defining that frequency is critical on staying focused on your path.

Your #1 currency is your attention and energy.

You choosing to collaborate with a news channels and in the comparison trap will bring yourself into a frequency of fear and worry.

One of the most important skills in realizing your dreams is the skill of staying focused and centered in your lane!

While it’s important to stay informed and see what others are doing to get inspired, it’s also important to make sure you aren’t getting sucked into the point that you are being injected with other people’s fears or being coded with their points of view.

Which means you must decide what you consume daily.

This is our biggest contribution to the world (and to your mental wellness).

If you feel like you are wobbly, distracted and like your attention is not on things that are serving you, here are 3 ways to strengthen your focus muscle:

(And leverage this as a way to choose to refocus so you can move to a higher level.)

1: Recode and declare new agreements.

An image that came to me in meditation the other day is this: right now you’re in the dashboard of your new reality, the control system of your life. You can input new agreements and decide what old conversations, stories or obstacles you will no longer be entertaining. You have the power to code that new reality right into the operating system of your life.

Take inventory and choose what you get to create. What gets to do. And what you get to believe in starting right now. The energy is so potent to make these new agreements and upgrade the hard drive to make lasting changes.

2. Mental Resilience.

We are in a portal of change. This is literally the time you’ve been training for. The time when all that inner work and mind training on how to stay steady in the face of adversity is to be embodied. It’s showtime!!

A Course in Miracles states “An untrained mind can accomplish nothing.” Instead of getting distracted by other people’s emotional needs or fears, train the mind to hold steady in your focus and intention. If fear does happen to pop in, check in to see if it is yours, or you picked up someone’s else’s stuff. If it’s yours, process it, with love and compassion and then release it. Getting used to release and eject density is a practice to master so you can get back to the place of trust and flow.

3: Your #1 currency: your attention.

You and I are in control of our #1 currency in the world: our attention. Do not be distracted by the media, the influencer, your neighbor, social media etc.

All these distractions require payment via energy and your attention. They fragment your energy which you so deeply need to integrate, process, clear old ideas and uplevel. Channel and focus your energy to people, places and things you love. Not things that make you feel bad about self, leave you anxious and depleted.

Every thought we have manifests, consciously or unconsciously. Who are you listening to? What are you filling your mind with? Set your boundaries.

Stay very aware of this and see how this step alone stabilizes your vibration within a day or even within hours.
