🎉I am so happy I am celebrating 7 years of sobriety today 🎉 the BEST decison I have ever made!

The fact that today is Jan 7th and it’s been 7 years is even more magical because the 7th is also the day my father passed away (August 7, 2007) and it is also the day my brother survived a heart attack (April 7th, 2019) 🙏

After my father passed away, whenever I would see the number 7, I knew he was there and guiding me and took it as a sign to make a decion on something I was unsure about. That’s how dad has shown up for me many times again and again in the last 17 years since his passing. This was the post sign. It became a symbol of his guidance. No accident both my bro and I had life changing events on a “7th”. His strength and presense is as strong as ever.

He did tell me a couple of months before he passed, via an engraved little box (—->scroll to see image to the left) that “he would always be there, that if I didn’t see him to look a little closer”. He literally gave me instructions!!!!! And he promised “he would be there”. Well he has!!

He continues to show up for my bro and I through these dates and through this number to remind us:

-that he is here
-what we are made of
-what we are capable of
-that we were made for hard things!

And that we are OVER COMERS! Just like he was. His legacy lives on. God is beyond good. My heart is so full today! 💜🙏 #sobriety #GodIsGood #Overcomer #MadeForHardThings

Life “lifing” can be a time where you see it a

Life “lifing” can be a time where you see it as a challenge or a springboard to a new level.

We are always one choice away from a different life.

It can be a time where you go into fear or a time where you can see adversity-laced setbacks as gifts and opportunities where God is building your character, preparing you to be able to expand your capacity to hold more and to trust him more.

We pray to be able to believe In ourselves, to be more committed and resilient…to have more space to hold more. and then we get the classroom lesson on how to develop those traits via adversity.

But we often miss this lesson of development and see it as our destiny and so we try to make adversity go away.

The reality is that adversity seasons are preparing you for 👊greatness!! 👊And if you do not learn how to dance with it, you will continue to try to avoid it and never reach the gifts of your next level!

Adversity is the test of next level blessings!

In simple terms: no adversity, no growth.

You don't have to like it.

But, you do have to believe in it and the role it plays in turning a storm of energy into a true source of strength.

You can see it from what you are losing to what you are gaining.

It is the learning that comes from the adversity that creates the opportunity to become the person you need to be to receive everything in your vision….Because your vision requires a different you!

One of the most powerful things you can do is learn how to reframe adversity and see it as a close friend rather than a fierce enemy.

This is crucial in breaking through whatever seems to keep you stuck.

And this takes practice and a skill that once mastered you can walk through anything in life from your center rather than getting detailed. This is why emotional fortitude and mastery are required for your next level. Because in your next level you won’t have the capacity to waste energy as you will be so busy building, creating and expanding!

Part of building a new habit is also building the muscle to to override the resistance!!
A few days in to a new habit is the time where the ego is gonna tempt you to let it go, and where you will feel the most resistance. DO IT ANYWAYS! 👊

That’s a muscle you are strengthening for future resistance. This is what it takes. To do what you say you are going to do despite not feeling like it. This will serve you so well in all areas. You are teaching your nervous system that it’s okay to be accountable and consistent. Some of our nervous systems are addicted to chaos & inconsistency cause that’s what’s familiar and long term consistency feels like a threat cause it’s unknown to the nervous system. You might have lived from the place of “when is the show gonna drop”.

So with every new small habit you start, look at the big picture. Give your nervous system the gift of starting to feel safe with consistency! You are breaking glass ceilings here. It’s the small things that make the biggest transformations!!

Because not doing what you say you want to do is HARD and so is doing what you say you are going to do! PICK YOUR HARD WISELY!!

🙌MAKE MONEY NEUTRAL 🙌

Money. It can be a triggering, loaded, complex topic to cover. But it is something we can’t avoid. We are in relationship with it daily. Whether you are a business owner or work for a corporation or don’t work at all. We come in contact with money daily.

I know that all the trauma that was hiding behind my money relationship really came up after I divorced and started my second business 8 years ago. I had no choice but to require my survival patterning that was finally surfacing around money.

Truth be told, I always had a security blanket with my father and my ex-husband when it came to money—until I didn’t. This was when God knew it was time for me to really get intimate with how I related to money and what I projected onto it.

The truth is that until we heal the patterns around our money (beyond mindset) and go right to where these patterns are being stored (in the body), we will continue to repeat them time and time again. Knowledge isn’t enough when we are healing this pattern with money. We need to go into the subconscious and into our bodies and nervous systems.

Until our bodies feel safe to let go of the patterns, we will continue to engage in them.

When it comes to money, working on your nervous system helps you switch out of a negative ‘prey’ dynamic into a more positive relationship with money. Maybe you’re feeling confused, vague or disempowered around money. So somatic work helps to rewire your survival patterning around money and build more self-trust.

Which is one of the main components I teach in my ⭐️Money, Food & Prayer⭐️ Program. It’s a journey to finally break free from limiting patterns so you can start living in freedom, wholeness and FULL trust!
